I'm taking the Naturalization test!

For those of you who know me, you know that I was not born in the United States. Even though I have been a U.S resident for over 10 years, I am not a U.S citizen. Well that will soon change. A couple days ago I went to pick up my application to take the naturalization test! I am so excited. They also gave me this book; Learn About the United States: Quick Civic Lessons for the Naturalization Test.

There are 100 questions/answers that I have to learn/memorize to be able to take the test. I think they only ask you up to 10 questions but you don't know which ones so you have read the whole book and learn all about the United States History. Included is an audio cd. My husband played it the other day while we went to the store. Funny thing is he was born in the U.S and still didn't know some of the answers.

The only thing I am not too excited about is this:
I have to pay $680 dlls to take the test! Crazy, huh? $20 more dollars and that's my monthly rent payment. So I guess I better start studying, and SAVING!

Wish me luck :)
